About the Match

Colombian fans are presented with a new opportunity to watch their national team in action at one of Inter Miami CF’s homes. Los Cafeteros have previously played at an Inter Miami CF venue on four different occasions, possessing an unbeaten record with four wins at Inter Miami CF Stadium. Colombia most recently secured a 2-1 victory over New Zealand last November, after previously defeating Venezuela in a friendly in November 2023, and earning a 2-1 and 2-0 wins over Honduras and Paraguay respectively in a pair of international friendlies in 2022.

Peru, meanwhile, will play at Nu Stadium for the second time, giving passionate fans from the South American country a fresh chance to watch their national team up close in action. Notably, Peru’s prior visit saw them face Haiti in the historic first-ever international friendly to be hosted at Nu Stadium. La Blanquirroja secured a thrilling 2-1 comeback victory in front of a sellout crowd

The international friendly builds on Nu Stadium’s impressive inaugural year, following a sold-out Haiti-Peru match in June that marked the first-ever international friendly at the Club’s new home. The match also comes on the heels of an action-packed summer in which Inter Miami’s facilities – the Florida Blue Training Center, Nu Stadium and Inter Miami CF Stadium – were the most utilized facilities by national teams. A total of 13 national teams, including 11 participating nations in the historic FIFA World Cup 2026, leveraged the Club’s world-class facilities to prepare for the global stage since June 1.
